Getting married is one of the big celebration events in life! It is also one of the
biggest opportunities to make vows of love and committment to another person,
in the presence of God.

 

Getting married in church a personal, meaningful and spiritual occasion. Churches are
special and unique places to get married in - the prayers, promises and the whole service of
celebration become part of your marriage, on the day itself and beyond.

Useful Information for Weddings

As you think about your wedding, you may find it useful to have some information
about what the service is like and the things to think about.

 

We can help you with the decisions to be made, from what hymns and music to have, to the
Bible reading and decorations for the church.

Fees for Church Weddings

Fees for Church Weddings are set nationally by the Church of England.
These are our 2021 fees:
    • Summer (Apr-Oct) = £560
    • Winter (Nov-Mar) = £620
Optional additions:
    • Organ = £100
    • Bells = £150
